Stout Cask Finish Release
Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, Old Line’s Stout Cask Finish returns with a release built around a truly unique barrel. This whiskey was finished in a 133-gallon French oak puncheon with an incredible journey behind it. The cask began as a PX Sherry barrel in southern Spain, was later used by our friends at Sagamore Spirit for their Sherry Cask Finish Rye, and then made its way to our neighbors at Monument City Brewing, where it held their seasonal Woodstove Imperial Stout.
We then finished our American Single Malt in this well-traveled barrel, allowing the stout-seasoned oak to impart rich notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and toffee into the whiskey while complementing the malt character of the spirit.
Join us for the distillery release on Saturday, March 14th starting at 1pm.
