Whiskey Seminar | Old Line Spirits
Whiskey Seminar At Old Line Spirits

Whiskey Seminar

Old Line is teaming up with our friends at McClintock Distilling and Baltimore Spirits Company to host a Whiskey Seminar! All profits will be donated to local charities supporting local area tree and green space restoration (our whiskey needs healthy oak to age in!)

The seminar will focus on what makes the three primary categories of whiskey (bourbon, rye, and single malt) unique by providing a bit of history, defining characteristics, and neat pours from each of the distilleries.

Braeden Bumpers, co-founder and head distiller at McClintock Distilling (Frederick, MD) will talk about the quintessential American whiskey: bourbon. Participants will get to try their brand new release: Matchstick Straight Bourbon.

Next, Max Kennedy, co-founder and distiller at Baltimore Whiskey Company (Baltimore, MD) will focus on Maryland’s historical and recently revitalized whiskey category: rye. Neat pours of their celebrated Epoch Rye will be provided during his session.

Finally, Arch Watkins, co-founder and head distiller at Old Line Spirits (Baltimore, MD) will discuss the newest and fastest growing category in whiskey: American Single Malt. He’ll provide samples of their award winning single malt.

A cash bar reception following the seminar will feature neat pours and cocktails made from the whiskeys discussed.

Tickets are $20 with all profits going to local charities dedicated to supporting healthy forestry and tree planting. Only 30 spots are available!
