Single Barrel American Single Malt

Hand-selected by Old Line Co-Founder Arch Watkins, Barrel No. 16-1185 comes from our oldest stock of American Single Malt. For nine hot summers and eight cold winters, this whiskey matured in heavy-char, first-use white oak barrels on the shores of the Chesapeake in the Mid-Atlantic.

There, it not only developed its signature Old Line whiskey richness but also emerged as a uniquely special barrel, displaying exciting complexity. Arch proofed the whiskey down from its robust cask strength of 128.0 to 116.6—a perfect sweet spot that allows a fuller release of esters, oils, and vanillin flavors. Presenting remarkable depth and complexity, it is a perfect fall sipping whiskey.
